The Augusta Cutting Horse Stallion Auction is the main fundraiser for our horse association. Stallion owners generously donate breedings to their stallions to support the association which then are sold through this standard auction format. There is no gambling whatsoever and this is not a bidding fee auction. Bidding is free to anyone.
- Minimum bid is 50% of Stallion advertised breeding fee
- Bids will increase in minimum increments of $100.00 beginning with the opening bid
- Bids are binding. Once submitted, your bid becomes a binding contract and promise to pay. Bids may not be retracted once submitted.
- Winning bidder for each breeding must pay with a credit card.
- Online auction dates are January 5, 2024 - January 19, 2024 ending at 5:00 PM EST sharp. The stallion owner/donor reservers the right to bid on its own behalf.
- The bid does not include mare care, chute fees or veterinary care during breeding. Contact the breeding facility for current costs.
- There will be no refunds of winning bids for any reason. After bidding has been completed, any transaction dealing with the breeding will be solely between the stallion owner and the mare owner.
- Once the breeding has been sold, Augusta Futurity will notify the breeding facility providing them with the purchasers contact information. An email will also be sent to the winning bidder. After this, it is the responsibility of the purchaser to contact the breeding facility to make breeding arrangements. Augusta Futurity is not responsible for booking dates.
- Donated breeding are for the 2024 breeding season.
- All monies collected for the 2024 auction, will be paid out during the 2025 Augusta Futurity.
- A breeding much be PURCHASED on the auction for foals to be eligible
for the incentive money.
